Precision, Purity, and Performance for Every Sip
In the fiercely competitive global beverage market, production efficiency, product integrity, and brand consistency are the cornerstones of success. LocusPack delivers the engineering expertise and robust machinery required to master these challenges. We specialize in complete, high-speed turnkey bottling and packaging lines engineered for the full spectrum of beverages: from ultra-pure bottled water and sensitive fresh juices to highly carbonated soft drinks (CSD), functional beverages, and value-added dairy-based drinks. Our solutions are built to meet the rigorous demands of producers in high-growth regions across Southeast Asia, Africa, Latin America, and Eastern Europe, where operational resilience, ease of maintenance, and rapid return on investment are paramount. We provide more than machines; we deliver integrated systems that optimize your Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), ensure HACCP and food-grade compliance, and protect your brand’s taste and quality from the filling valve to the final retail pack.
Before any product is filled, the container must be impeccably clean. Contaminants like dust, microorganisms, or residual cleaning agents can ruin an entire batch.
High-Speed Air & Water Rinsers: For new, pre-cleaned PET, glass, or HDPE bottles delivered in bulk, our rotary or inline air-rinsing machines use powerful, filtered compressed air blasts to eject any particulate matter. For a higher level of assurance, multi-stage water rinsers employ jets of purified water (RO/DI) or ozonated water to physically wash the interior, followed by a final air purge to ensure the container is completely dry and ready for filling. These systems are designed for speeds exceeding 60,000 bottles per hour (BPH) and are a critical first step in any quality-conscious bottling operation.
Returnable Bottle (RBW) & Keg Washing Systems: For breweries, soft drink bottlers, and dairy plants using returnable glass, our industrial bottle washers are engineered for durability and thoroughness. These massive tunnel washers employ a rigorous, multi-zone process: a pre-rinse with recovered hot water, followed by caustic detergent soaking and spraying at controlled temperatures to remove labels and biological residues, multiple hot water rinse stages, and a final purified fresh water rinse. Advanced systems include internal jetting heads to clean the bottle interior under high pressure. For kegs, we offer fully automated keg washing stations that clean, sanitize, and internally inspect each unit before refilling.
Advanced Liquid Filling Technology for Every Beverage Type
High-Speed Rotary Fillers: For large-scale production of water, CSD, or beer, our rotary fillers with 80, 100, or more filling valves are the industry standard. They offer unparalleled efficiency, with speeds capable of exceeding 80,000 BPH for small PET formats. Features include CIP/SIP systems, no-bottle-no-fill sensors, and electronic fill level control for each individual valve.
Flexible Linear & Monobloc Fillers: For medium output, niche products, or frequent changeovers, our linear (in-line) fillers and filler-capper monoblocs provide excellent versatility. They are easier to reconfigure for different bottle shapes and sizes and are perfect for craft breweries, juice packers, and dairies producing multiple SKUs on a single line.
The heart of any line is the filler. Selecting the right technology is critical for preserving product characteristics, ensuring accuracy, and maximizing speed.
| Filling Technology | Ideal Beverage Types | Core Principle & Key Advantages |
|---|---|---|
| Isobaric (Counter-Pressure) Filling | Carbonated Soft Drinks (CSD), Beer, Sparkling Water, Champagne | Fills under equalized pressure between tank and bottle. Prevents CO₂ breakout and foam, preserving carbonation and maximizing fill accuracy (±1mm). Essential for any pressurized product. |
| Gravity (Atmospheric) Filling | Still Water, Juices, Wine, Spirits, Oil, Vinegar | Relies on product’s own weight flowing from an elevated tank. Simple, gentle, and cost-effective. Modern systems use electronic fill level sensing for high precision without mechanical valves touching the bottle. |
| Volumetric Filling (Piston/Pump) | Viscous Juices (with pulp), Syrups, Dairy Drinks, Liquid Sugars | Uses a positive displacement pump or piston to meter an exact volume. Unaffected by product viscosity or particulates. Offers the highest weight/volume accuracy (±0.5%) for valuable products. |
| Aseptic & ESL (Extended Shelf Life) Filling | UHT Milk, Plant-Based Drinks, Juices without Preservatives | Maintains sterility from process to package. Containers and closures are sterilized (e.g., with H₂O₂, peracetic acid, or UV light), and filling occurs in a sterile, positive-pressure chamber. Enables ambient shelf life. |
Capping, Sealing & Closure Application
The seal must be perfect to contain pressure, preserve freshness, and provide tamper evidence. Our technologies cover every closure type.
Spindle Capping for Screw Caps: Our high-speed rotary spindle cappers apply consistent, programmable torque to a vast range of plastic screw caps (PP, PE), sports caps, and dispensing closures. They handle 28mm to 38mm caps at line speed and can be equipped with cap sorters and elevators for automatic cap supply. Torque monitoring systems provide real-time data to ensure every cap is secure but not over-tightened, preventing leakers and customer complaints.
Crown Corking for Beer & CSD: The traditional seal for glass bottles. Our crown corkers place and crimp tinplate or aluminum crowns onto bottles at high speed. They are precisely synchronized with the filler to maintain carbonation pressure. Options include oxygen-absorbing crown liners for premium beers to extend shelf life.
Roll-On Pilfer Proof (ROPP) Aluminium Capping: For spirits, wines, and premium oils, the ROPP capper forms a threaded aluminum shell from a blank closure directly onto the bottle’s finish, creating an airtight, tamper-evident seal. It is a mark of quality and security for high-value products.
Induction Sealing for Liquid Integrity: To provide an additional hermetic barrier under a plastic screw cap, we integrate induction sealers. These systems apply a foil-lined inner seal that is bonded to the bottle rim in milliseconds, preventing leakage, oxygen ingress, and product tampering—a critical feature for juices, dairy, and sensitive functional drinks.
Secondary Packaging & End-of-Line Integration
Transforming single bottles into shippable, retail-ready units requires robust and intelligent handling.
High-Speed Labeling & Sleeving: We apply full-body shrink sleeves, roll-fed labels, or spot labels with pinpoint accuracy. Our rotary labelers can handle 360° wrap-around labels at extreme speeds, while hot melt or pressure-sensitive (PSL) labelers are ideal for front/back applications. Print-and-apply systems allow for variable data (batch, expiry, barcodes) to be printed directly onto the label during application.
Multi-Packing & Shrink Wrapping: To create retail bundles, we offer tray packers and shrink-wrapping tunnels. Machines group bottles into 6-packs, 12-packs, or 24-packs, place them on a corrugated tray or cardboard carrier, and then pass them through a heat tunnel where a plastic film shrinks tightly around the bundle, creating a stable, attractive, and protected multipack.
Case Packing & Robotic Palletizing: For final shipment, bottles or multipacks are loaded into corrugated cases. We provide solutions from continuous motion case packers to flexible robotic cells. Robotic arms, equipped with advanced vision systems and soft grippers, can gently handle mixed packs and build complex, stable pallet patterns optimized for transport, ready for automatic stretch wrapping.
Integrated Quality Inspection: Throughout the line, we implement vision systems to inspect for fill level, cap presence and alignment, label placement, and correct coding. Checkweighers verify the net content of every bottle or pack, ensuring compliance with legal metrology standards and minimizing product giveaway.
The LocusPack Total Line Philosophy
We engineer lines as cohesive systems, not a collection of machines, focusing on your total operational outcome.
Hygienic & Sustainable Engineering: Our designs adhere to EHEDG and 3-A sanitary principles. We prioritize easy-clean surfaces, food-grade lubricants, and water/energy-saving technologies like empty bottle inspectors to reject unsuitable containers before filling, saving both product and resources. We can integrate water recovery and treatment systems into bottle washers.
Unmatched Operational Flexibility: In a market driven by SKU proliferation, we build for rapid changeover. Our lines feature quick-release tooling, recipe-driven PLC controls, and servo-driven adjustments that allow you to switch from a 330ml can to a 1L PET bottle, or from a carbonated drink to a still juice, in record time, maximizing asset utilization.
Lifecycle Performance & Support: Our partnership ensures long-term success. From initial line simulation and layout planning to FAT, commissioning, and comprehensive operator training, we are with you. We provide a reliable global supply chain for high-wear spare parts (valves, seals, grippers) and offer remote diagnostics and preventive maintenance plans to maximize your uptime.
Scalability for Growth: We design with your future in mind. A line can start as a semi-automatic monobloc and be scaled up into a fully automated high-speed line with integrated packaging as your brand grows. Our modular approach protects your initial investment and provides a clear path for expansion.
