At Locus Robotics, we don’t just build machines; we engineer the intelligent, connected production lines that power global industries. From pharmaceuticals in Southeast Asia to food processing in Latin America and chemical plants in the Middle East, our robotic filling, capping, and packaging systems set new standards for precision, efficiency, and reliability. To sustain this innovation, we are constantly seeking passionate, skilled professionals who are driven by complex challenges. A career with us means working at the intersection of advanced mechanical engineering, industrial IoT, and applied robotics, with a tangible impact on global manufacturing. We offer more than a job—we offer a pathway to professional mastery within a culture that values bold ideas, collaborative problem-solving, and continuous growth.
Why Your Work Matters Here:
You will be directly involved in projects that define Industry 4.0 for packaging. Our work encompasses:
Developing Cyber-Physical Systems: Integrating advanced sensors, IIoT gateways, and AI-driven analytics into robust packaging machinery.
Creating Digital Twins: Building and utilizing virtual models of complete production lines for simulation, virtual commissioning, and predictive maintenance.
Engineering for Global Challenges: Designing equipment that must perform flawlessly in diverse and demanding environments—from high-humidity climates to stringent GMP cleanrooms.
Our portfolio is not static. You will contribute to next-generation solutions like AI-powered vision inspection systems, adaptive robotics for mixed-SKU palletizing, and closed-loop process control systems that learn and optimize in real-time.
Our Ecosystem for Professional Development:
We foster an environment where knowledge is shared and ambition is supported. Our structure is designed to help you excel:
Mentorship from Industry Veterans: Learn from engineers and project managers with decades of hands-on experience in packaging automation across pharmaceuticals, food, and chemicals.
Cross-Functional Project Teams: Work alongside mechanical designers, electrical engineers, software developers, and automation specialists, gaining a holistic understanding of turnkey system integration.
Global Perspective: Engage with projects for international clients, understanding regional market needs, regulatory landscapes (like FDA, CE, GMP), and cultural nuances in business.
Dedicated Learning Paths: We support continuous education through sponsored technical certifications (in robotics, PLC programming, lean manufacturing), access to industry conferences, and internal masterclasses.
We are looking for talent across several critical domains. Below are of the impactful roles we seek to fill.
Senior Mechanical Design Engineer (Packaging Machinery): You will lead the design of complex modules for rotary fillers, monobloc systems, or robotic handling cells. Your work will involve 3D modeling (SolidWorks), FEA analysis, material selection (316L SS, food-grade polymers), and creating designs for manufacturability and serviceability.
Automation & Controls Engineer: Your domain is the machine’s nervous system. You will program PLCs (Siemens, Allen-Bradley), design electrical schematics, integrate servo drives and robotic controllers (Fanuc, ABB), and develop HMI/SCADA applications for remote monitoring and data collection.
Robotics Integration Specialist: Focus on the application of 6-axis articulated and collaborative robots within packaging lines. You will be responsible for cell design, end-effector tooling, path planning, safety system integration, and programming for tasks like precision picking, case packing, and palletizing.
Project Manager (Turnkey Packaging Lines): You will be the captain of complex integration projects. Your role encompasses client liaison, timeline and budget management, coordination of design, assembly, factory acceptance testing (FAT), site installation, and final customer sign-off (SAT).
Commissioning & Service Engineer (Global): This is a hands-on, customer-facing role for problem-solvers. You will travel to client sites worldwide to install machinery, conduct training, perform troubleshooting, and provide proactive maintenance support. Deep knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems is essential.
Technical Sales Manager (Regional Focus — MENA, Southeast Asia): You will be the technical expert driving business growth in key markets. This involves understanding client production challenges, designing technical proposals for automated solutions, and demonstrating how our technology delivers ROI.
Application Engineer: The vital link between sales and engineering. You will analyze client requirements (container type, product viscosity, output speed), configure optimal machine specifications, and create compelling technical documentation and cost estimates.
We invest in our team’s well-being and long-term success with a comprehensive package:
Competitive Compensation & Performance Incentives: Attractive salary structures tied to individual and company success.
Health & Wellness Programs: Comprehensive medical insurance and initiatives supporting physical and mental health.
Relocation & Mobility Support: For roles requiring it, we provide full assistance with relocation to our hub locations.
Work-Life Integration: We offer flexible working arrangements where role-appropriate and generous vacation policies.
Cutting-Edge Work Environment: Access to modern labs, prototyping workshops, and the latest software and simulation tools.
